Residents’ wintertime water use determines wastewater volume charges. Winter months are used since lawn watering usually is not done. The bill with a starting service date in December is the first of three used to calculate your winter-quarter average for wastewater billing purposes.

Save money by conserving water. Water your lawn early in the morning or late in the evening when less water is lost to evaporation. Water deeply (1 inch of water) and infrequently to obtain a deep root system. Grass with a healthy root system can better tolerate hot temperatures. Repair any leaks.
