YOUTH ADVISORY BOARD
AUTHORITY FOR CREATION AND OPERATION: The board was created by Ordinance No. 16061 on September 14, 2004.
COMPOSITION: Twenty-seven (27) members.
METHOD OF APPOINTMENT: Members appointed by the City Council; members must be residents of Fort Worth, ages 14-18 and enrolled in high school.
TERMS OF OFFICE: Two-year terms as long as they meet eligibility requirements.
GENERAL POWERS AND DUTIES: The Board advises the City Council on youth issues important to the community.
Members are not considered to be officers of the City of Fort Worth.
MEETING TIME AND PLACE: Third Monday of each month, 5:00 p.m.-7:00 p.m., Pre-Council Chamber, City Hall, 1000 Throckmorton, 76102. For meeting agendas, please visit the City Calendar.
