SUBJECT:   Authorize the Acquisition of a 0.144 Acre Sanitary Sewer Easement  and a 0.074 Acre Temporary Construction Easement from SHG Resources, LP, Located at 850 12th Avenue in South Fort Worth, in the Amount of $104,022.00 and Pay the Estimated Closing Costs of $4,000.00
RECOMMENDATION:

It is recommended that the City Council:

1. Authorize the acquisition of a 0.144 acre Sanitary Sewer Easement  and a 0.074 acre Temporary Construction Easement from SHG Resources, LP, located at 850 12th Avenue in South Fort Worth in the amount of $104,022.00 and pay the estimated closing costs of $4,000.00.

2. Find that the appraised value of $104,022.00 is just compensation; and
  
3. Authorize the acceptance and recording of appropriate instruments for DOE No. 4279, Project  No. 00247.

 
DISCUSSION:

The Sanitary Sewer Easement  and Temporary Construction Easement are required for the construction of the Fort Worth Medical District Water Distribution System Improvements, Part 4.

The Grantor has agreed to sell the easements for the appraised value of $104,022.00. The acquisition cost is based on an outside independent appraisal. Closing costs are estimated at $4,000.00.
