It is recommended that the City Council authorize the City Manager to Execute a Renewal of an Amendment to enter into a Sublease Agreement with International Sister Cities Association of Fort Worth for an additional one year term period for property located at 808 Throckmorton Street.

On August 5, 2004, the City Council authorized the City Manager to enter into a sublease agreement with International Sister Cities Association of Fort Worth for property located at the Oil & Gas Commerce Building, 808 Throckmorton Street (M&C G-14446, City Secretary Contract Number 35833).  On December 4, 2008, the City executed a renewal of an amendment to sublease an agreement extending the term of the lease to September 30, 2009, (City Secretary Contract Number 35833-A1), which sublease includes Suites 150, 152, 154, 158, 160, 162, 164 and 166.  The City has received a request from Sister Cities Association of Fort Worth to extend the lease term for one year.  The Agreement will allow the City to terminate the Lease prior to the expiration of the renewal term upon 45 days written notice.

City staff recommends amending the sublease to extend the lease term to September 30, 2010.  All other terms and conditions of the original lease agreement and subsequent amendments remaining unchanged.
