Loans for Builders and Developers
This program provides loans to housing sponsors for the preservation and development of housing, particularly in the Central City and target areas.
The Fort Worth Housing Trust Fund Housing Developer Fund encourages the private sector to develop housing, especially in the Central City, for households who earn up to 120% of the Area Median Income, established annually by the Department of Housing & Urban Development (HUD). The fund provides short term financing for pre-development, single-family lot acquisition, single-family development, land acquisition, and multi-family and mixed-use construction. Loans for Homeowners
This program provides loans to homeowners for the preservation and rehabilitation of their primary residence.
Through its Fort Worth Housing Trust Fund, the Homeowner Loan Program assists homeowners with minor and substantial repairs, and is offered citywide to eligible borrowers. Loan amounts and loan terms are based on the property location and household income.

Who Is Eligible?
To qualify for the Dream Home Program, buyers must meet the requirements outlined in the Closing Costs/Down Payment and Deferred Payment Loan Assistance programs.

Financial Assistance
The City provides Closing Cost/Down Payment Assistance and Deferred Payment Loan Assistance Programs to help first-time buyer purchase safe and affordable housing. Up to $14,999 in closing cost, down payment and mortgage assistance may be provided through these programs.
