Employee Assistance Program
(EAP)

The Employee Assistance Program provides guidance and direction to employees and their eligible family members experiencing a wide range of concerns. Whether one is facing a difficult personal matter, a family issue or a stressful work environment, the EAP is available to assist employees in meeting such challenges. These include: workplace effectiveness, stress, depression, personal relationships,  child or elder care, absenteeism,  and alcohol or drug dependency problems. There is no cost for this service and confidentiality is maintained in accordance with applicable federal, state and local laws. EAP services may be accessed by making an appointment for an individual session or  through phone consultation. Drop-ins are received for employees in crisis immediately.  Referrals to the health benefits providers or other agencies may be offered as appropriate. For more information contact: Deborah Cuffee at 817-392-7789 or Deborah.Cuffee@fortworthgov.org
