Society of Watercolor Artists
27th Annual Juried Art Exhibition

Found in 1981, the Society of Watercolor Artists is a Tarrant County organization established to “further the interests of painters in watercolors by its educational programs and competitive exhibits, and encourage art students and others engaged in watercolor paintings.”
The exhibit currently in the Art Gallery of the Fort Worth Central Library, 500 West 3rd Street, comprises 61 paintings by local artists and includes a wide variety of styles and themes.
A reception will be held on Thursday, April 24, 2008, from 6 to 8 p.m. The public is welcome to attend, view the paintings and meet the artists. Light refreshments will be served.
