Wii Play @ the Central Library

Join us in Central Library's Discovery Theatre for Wii Play for kids ages 5-12. We play educational video games geared to a younger audience such as Dora Saves the Snow Princess and Build-a-Bear Workshop, which encourage problem solving and literacy skills.  Saturday and Sunday: 3-4 p.m. Family Wii play Thursday evenings from 6-7 p.m.  For more information, call 817-871-7745.  

Tail-Waggin’ Tutors
A dog is a READER’S best friend

Is your child nervous about reading? Tail-Waggin' Tutors may the perfect answer. These dogs are specially trained by Therapy Dogs, International to listen patiently while a child practices reading and gains more confidence.  Sessions will be held the first Saturday of each month in the Reading Pavilion of the Central Library Youth Center. For more information, call 817-871-7745.
