free mulch at rolling hills tree farm
where Fort Worth GROWS "green"

The Forestry Section strives to recycle all removed plant materials.  Small wood debris is chipped.  Heavy Equipment, another Section of Parks and Community Services, mulches the wood chips.  They offer free mulch and compost to the citizens of Fort Worth. Wood chip mulch and screened composted mulch can be obtained from the parking lot at Rolling Hills Park between the Soccer Fields and Rolling Hills Tree Farm at 2525 Joe B. Rushing Road. Citizens should bring sturdy bags or other containers, shovels, and work gloves. Remember to cover your load if using a pickup or trailer. Employees are not available to aid in bagging and loading of mulch.
