SmartFlush Voucher Toilet Distribution Program

The Voucher Program has reached budgeted allotment for this fiscal year, and we are no longer accepting applications. Customers can apply beginning October 2010.

Qualifying Fort Worth water customers can receive up to two free WaterSense approved toilets per household.

Toilets are the single largest use of water inside the home. Older toilets made before 1994 use 3.5 to 7 gallons of water per flush. Replacing these older toilets with high efficiency models is a smart way to save money and water.

Qualifications

• Own or rent a home that was built before 1994. Renters must also complete and submit the Landlord Consent Form with their application.
• Have an existing toilet manufactured before 1994 that uses at least three gallons of water per flush.
• Agree to install toilet within 30 days and follow proper disposal methods.

If you are approved, you will be mailed a voucher to pick up your free toilet. Vouchers are valid for 30 days. Please note, toilets are issued until budgeted funds are depleted.
