Be Water Smart - Don't Water between 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Fort Worth customers are encouraged to be water-smart: knowing what to do and following through. Our conservation goals cannot be achieved without the support of our customers. You have a unique opportunity to participate in being water savvy by following these water efficient guidelines, which are enforced via Fort Worth's conservation ordinance.
- Water before 10 a.m. and after 6 p.m., unless by soaker hose, hand-held hose or drip irrigation.
- Maintain your sprinkler system, making sure there are no broken or leaky heads.
- Check irrigation zone coverage areas, so you don't water sidewalks or streets.
- Set your timer to manual to ensure your system doesn’t go off during a rain event.
